what we do
The Mouth of the Ystwyth is a newspaper run by students from Aberystwyth University, launched in September 2022.
We aim to cover stories and explore life in Aberystwyth from a student perspective, as well as giving an insight into student life in Aberystwyth for student and non-student readers alike. We hope to become an established part of Aberystwyth University life and to be used as a tool for our readers to better understand the university and its students. The Mouth of the Ystwyth is a volunteer programme affiliated with Aberystwyth’s Student Union and our team is made up of current students.

I hope that through this newspaper we can deliver information that you may not normally hear as well as give you some help and support in both student and Aber life.
Louise Falconer
